South Plains Food2Kids
South Plains Food2Kids’ mission is to put an end to weekend hunger in the South Plains. With the help of many volunteers and partnering with other organizations, they send nutritious shelf-stable bags of food home each Friday so children are able to come to school ready to learn on Monday morning. Currently, they provide 2,000 bags per week for Lubbock ISD and will continue this commitment by taking those bags to the food pickup sites listed above for Lubbock ISD. They are raising money for additional support to be able to feed children beyond their current budget. If you would like to donate, they are asking for monetary donations in the form of a check or credit card. They are an official 501(c)3 so all donations are tax-deductible. For credit card donations, please contact Kacee Hogg at (806) 777-9445 or [email protected] Checks can be made out to South Plains Food2Kids and mailed to:
